STORE POLICY STUTTGART HAUS OF PARTS ONLINE STORE POLICIES We strive to make your experience with us as pleasant and beneficial as possible. However, as a retail business, we do adhere to certain policies that protect both the business and the consumer. Please note these before you order. PRICING We inventory high demand new parts in our main warehouse. The slower moving parts if not inventoried are usually available to us next day or we may be able to drop ship from another of our warehouse locations. Effective investment in inventories allows us to hold down costs and hold down our pricing to you. Further, pricing is subject to change. If pricing is other than discussed or advertised, then shipping will not occur until customer approval is obtained. PAYMENT Orders are typically shipped UPS COD for payment by Bank Cashiers or Teller’s check, Money Order or company check where pre-approved. VISA and MasterCard prepayment are available, as well as prepayment by check. Orders prepaid by personal check or business check without sufficient previous payment history are delayed for clearing of check through the business banking account. Certified funds and bankcard prepayment orders are shipped immediately. FREIGHT AND DELIVERY Freight costs are based on shipment from the main warehouse inventory in North Carolina. Actual freight costs and a minimal handling charge for packaging materials are added to the parts cost for orders shipped. If COD is used, a flat cost for the carrier's COD collection is added to the freight cost to cover that additional charge by the carrier to us. We reserve the right to use alternate carriers and shipping methods to deliver products within the expected time frame. SHIPPING CLAIMS Any claims for loss or damage in transit must be made directly to the delivering carrier. ALL original packing materials and damaged parts must be held until the delivering carrier inspects, or picks up the shipment and materials for inspection, or waives the right for inspection. Successful claim settlement is greatly enhanced if damage is noted in writing with the delivering carrier AT THE TIME OF RECEIPT. Concealed damage should be identified to the carrier as such if claimed after receipt. Any claims for shortage or shipping error should be made immediately, but no longer than 5 days of receipt. RETURN POLICY No returns after 15 days of receipt. Call for Return Number Authorization (RNA) and have your Invoice readily available for use in the authorization. Returns by COD are not accepted. Original Invoice MUST be included with all authorized returns. The RNA MUST be visible on the outside of the return package. Otherwise, the return will not be accepted from the carrier and credit can not be made to the proper customer. NO RETURNS ON ELECTRICAL OR SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS. Returns are issued an in-store credit toward future purchases and are subject to a 20% restocking charge. PERFORMANCE PARTS DME chips, exhaust systems, and certain air filtering products other than factory systems are sold for Off-Road Use only.
